Fisher-Price recently brought back an old favorite, the Doodle Bear. Rated for 3 years and up, Doodle bears are fun for preschoolers to
decorate over and over again. Each Doodle Bear comes with a stencil that has 3 different shapes for tracing and 2 dual tipped machine washable markers. One end of the special marker is for drawing and the other has a playful stamp. Doodle Bears are fun to stamp, draw on, trace, and more. Once your preschooler is done decorating the bear, you simply toss the Doodle Bear in the wash and the fun begins again!

For our review, we received Sky Doodle Bear. Savannah, my almost 5 year old artist, was excited to get to work. She started by writing family members names then discovered the stamps and stencils. Once she was done, I was eager to test the machine washing. After
a quick bath, Sky Doodle Bear was ready to go again. This time, Savannah embellished Sky’s outfit. Savannah had lots of fun with Sky Doodle Bear.

As a parent, I am concerned that the Doodle Bears will teach our preschoolers that it is “OK” to write on things other than paper. Savannah is bit older than the suggested age, she understand that it’s NOT OK to write on her other stuffed animals or anything other than paper. Cheyenne is 2.5; I know that this product is not suited for her. I can almost guarantee that it would confuse her and lead to her writing on other things.

Doodle Bears are really cute. You can find them on their website and Facebook page.

These are cute, they look very soft for a toddler to hug.. I like that it is machine washable. I agree with you.. I know our youngest little guy in the house would want to draw on everything.
    Thanks for sharing.

  • That’s so cool that they brought these back! I always really wanted one when I was younger.
