If you visit the sidebar today, you’ll see that our google friend connect widget has disappeared. A few weeks ago google announced that starting march 1st, GFC would no longer work on WordPress blogs. I’ve known for a while now that I should just take it down, seems how it won’t work soon. I worked to build my GFC followership for over 2 years and had gotten to over 3000, and I couldn’t disable it at first. However, today I logged in to find that it had reverted back to the old Emmy’s boos and rawrs link. I could have fixed it but doing so would have meant logging into my google account and correcting the settings. Instead, I decided it’s just time to let it go.

If you’re used to following along via your blogger account on GFC, please take to following us by rss, email, facebook or twitter because starting march first that method will no longer work for following this blog seems how we are on wordpress. All buttons for following us can be found in the sidebar. In the coming months I hope to get better at updating google plus as well, so feel free to start following us there as well.

Bye bye google friend connect.
