Where did summer go? School is just around the corner here in Michigan, where we start after Labor day. I’ve seen other bloggers say that their children are starting back this week already! Wow. I’m glad we don’t go back that early in Michigan. Are you prepared with school supplies yet? If not – consider It’s Academic brand products this school year. In high school I loved decorating my locker with a white board, a mirror, a pencil holder, etc. It was also helpful to have a shelf so that I could put a few books on top of the shelf and a few on the bottom of my locker so that at most I’d only have to move one book to grab the book I needed instead of digging 4-5 books down while in a rush to make it to the next class in time. Yesterday I got some Re:Writers products in the mail. Of course, I haven’t had a ton of time to try them otu yet but they are a unique way to leave notes in your locker, kitchen or pretty much anywhere else. The Re:writes aren’t sticky on the back, yet they will adhere to most flat surfaces. I tried these out on a wall in my home and everything has stayed against the wall except for the one marker which doesn’t seem to want to stay up. I’ve even moved the Re:writes several times to new locations without a problem. The slimmer re:writes would fit inside of a locker door so that kids can leave notes for their friend who they share a locker with. They also could be used to keep track of a grocery list or to leave notes to a loved one in your home. As you can see, I put a re:write on our wall next to our computer. I can use it to leave notes to Ryan to let him know where i’m at if I leave the house while he’s asleep or while he isn’t home.
