Have you ever heard of Origami Owl living lockets? In case you haven’t, let me tell you a little about them. In 2010, Origami Owl was created by Bella, a young (14 year old) entrepreneur. She wanted a way to earn money so she could purchase a car on her 16th birthday. Bella created a jewelry line called Origami Owl that offered living lockets that could be completely personalized.  She sold them by holding at-home parties. It was a success! From there, Origami Owl decided to reach their customers through a team of independent designers.

For my review, my Origami Owl independent designer, Jacqueline Woods, allowed me to create a living locket. While looking at Jacqueline’s website, I was surprised by all the options I could choose from. Their is a nice selection of chains, lockets, charms, tags, and more to choose from. I wanted to create a necklace that I could wear as an every-day piece of jewelry.

I chose the Silver Ball Station 18” Chain with the Medium Silver Living Locket. I wanted my locket to represent my life with my Husband, specifically our wedding. I chose to use the wedding ring charm and the antique rose charm since our wedding flower was a white rose. Then I chose to include two gems that reflected our wedding colors which were champagne and black. I absolutely love the way my Origami Owl Living Locket turned out and so does everyone who notices it based on the NUMEROUS compliments I’ve received.
