Daily deal sites are so popular and it’s really no surprise – who doesn’t love saving money? Especially by simply logging into a website and seeing what is listed for sale instead of having to cut coupons or search the entire internet comparing prices. Yet, I’m surprised that I’m just now hearing about a daily deal site for handmade goods called To Adorn. Everyone knows that handmade gifts can be costly – partially because they are of course, handmade and therefore a lot more work goes into each item but also because individual sellers tend to sell smaller quantities and so they purchase their materials for making the goods in smaller quantities, which is more expensive. So creating To Adorn – a site where artists can feature their products at discounted rates, thus selling more which makes it easier for them to produce their products cheaper because they get a lot of orders at once and can buy the materials in bulk. They’re happy because they make sales, an we’re happy because we get incredible handmade gifts for less cash. A true win win!

Of course, the items available for sale changes everyday but a few of the items currently available are pictured below.

New items are posted at 12 am MST and then they last for three days.  Unlike many daily deal sites, there isn’t a standard shipping charge. I’ve seen daily deal sites that have $9 flat shipping no matter the size of the package which can really ruin a deal if the item is small and cheap. To Adorn shipping prices vary by item , for example, the tights have a $2.50 shipping charge for the first pair and if you buy multiple pairs, shipping is $1 for each extra pair. The anchor earrings have a $2 shipping charge on the first pair, and an extra .50 for each additional pair. Pretty reasonable, you definitely won’t be asked to pay more for shipping than you did for your item like many other sites.
