Even though my girls are 4 and 6 years old, I still like having monitors in their bedrooms. Being able to hear and see them gives me with peace of mind when they aren’t feeling well. It has also helped us understand their sleep patterns and figure out what we can do to improve their night of sleep.

Invisible LED night vision is the coolest thing ever! Lila has eight invisible infrared LEDs to watch over your little one. Night vision will work up to 12 feet away, in complete darkness. I have never seen a monitor do this. It allows me to check on the girls without having to turn on a light and risk waking them. My oldest has a hard time falling asleep. With Lila, I can see when she is still awake (usually reading books) and encourage her to settle in for the night.

Another feature that gets a lot of use in our home is Talk to Baby two-way communication. Lila not only lets you hear your little ones, but you can also talk to them. My youngest OFTEN wakes up in the middle of the night. All I have to do is whisper over the monitor for her to go back to sleep and she does! Lila saves me a trip up and down stairs in the middle of the night.

Lila has ClearVu Digital Signal which means, I receive a clear signal from up to 500 feet away. Unlike the monitor we are currently seeing on the news for being hacked, Lila is private and secure; its interference-free digital signal cannot be tapped by anyone else.

Lila’s video monitor can operate on battery or being plugged in. The battery will hold a charge for approximately 72 hours before needing to be recharged. If your battery should run out in the middle of the night, Lila will go into PEEP mode which means it will set your screen to sleep until there is a sound in the bedroom. As soon as there is a peep, your screen will come back on. Smart, right?!

Because my kids are older, I worried that Lila would become the new “toy” in the house. I could see them having a karaoke contest with the monitors. To remedy that, I mounted the cameras to the wall out of their reach. This also allows me to focus the camera on the parts of their rooms I most want to see. Lila’s cameras can be easily adjusted to any angle needed.

The video monitor enables me to check in on both girls’ bedrooms. I can adjust the video brightness and volume level to fit my needs. It has a stand making it easy to set on my night table.

Lila was the perfect fit for our family. However, if you need different options or additional cameras, Levana has many to choose from.
