Our kids like to snack. Actually, the biggest snacker in our home is probably my husband. Since he gets up at 3:30 am each morning, he grabs a snack before heading out. About 7 am, I pack him a cooler with a hot egg sandwich, piece of fruit, and some snacks so he can have breakfast. Sometimes, I’ll even add a piece of chocolate or candy if there happens to be some around the house. This typically only happens after Halloween and Easter since I don’t normally purchase those types of items and the kids get those goodies from others.  Otherwise, I try to keep our snacks around the home healthier.

I partnered with BettaSnax for this review.  BettaSnax is a company that provides bite size biscotti snacks.  I received samples of their S’mores, Original, and Fruit & Nut flavors.  I like that BettaSnax provides a product that tastes good but contains: no cholesterol, no preservatives, no dairy, no artificial flavors, and is low fat and low calories.

Our kids were really excited to give these BettaSnax Biscotti snacks a try.  I let our 6 year old decide which flavor would be first and he decided to open the Original.  We all dived right in.  The consensus was pretty positive through all the loud crunching going on as we ate.  (I think that’s half the appeal!)  It’s amazing how everyone ends up with different favorites.  The S’mores won first place while the Fruit and Nut came in second.  Overall, all the flavors were good though.  I would love to see BettaSnax come out with single size packaging for healthy on the go snacking.
