After much research, I came to the conclusion that Raw Elements USA was a sunscreen line that I could trust with my family’s health. Creator, Brian Guadagno, set out on a mission to formulate a true sunscreen skin care line. After much work, he created Raw Elements sunscreen; a line gentle enough for use on infants yet powerful enough for extreme athletes.
Raw Elements sunscreen is an eco-friendly product; it is reef-safe and biodegradable. It is non-GMO project verified and Leaping Bunny Certified. Raw Element sunscreen is made with all natural and certified organic ingredients. It provides broad spectrum protection. It is water resistant, doesn’t run into your eyes and won’t burn your eyes if accidentally rubbed into them.
For our review, we received a bottle of Eco Formula 30+ Lotion, an Eco Stick 30+ and an Eco Tint Stick.
I love the lotion for head to toe body coverage. It goes on nicely and doesn’t feel greasy. The sticks are my favorite for face coverage. I use the regular sunscreen stick (untinted) during our colder wet months (we have many of those in Oregon). I wear it under my normal day-to-day make-up; it doesn’t feel heavy in any way. I prefer the tinted sunscreen stick during our warmer dry months. I don’t wear make-up very often in the summer. The tint stick helps me feel like I am hiding some of my facial imperfections while still protecting it from the sun.
The great thing about the sticks is that they can easily be applied under water. Yep, you read that right…no need to get out of the water to apply! The convenient roll-up design also makes applying sunscreen to an active child’s face a little less stressful or it allows them to just apply it themselves! My daughters (5 and 7 years) prefer to apply their own sunscreen now.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

A comment on Raw Elements new ‘daily lifestyle pump’. This is my first and last product that I will ever buy from this company! It is zinc oxide which is semi-solid ointment, but they put it in a can with a plastic straw that it is supposed to pump up through. It worked, although not well, for the first 30 pumps. After that, the product being non-liquid isn’t within reach of the straw, so 85% of the product is not reachable.
Their design people had to be aware of this, even if they only did very limited testing. A company this careless and intentionally selling badly designed products is not one that I would ever trust.
They never answered my emails either!
