I received products from Gorilla Glue for my review. All opinions are my own.
When many people are faced with a home repair, they turn to duct tape for a quick temporary fix. Not me! I like something a little stronger. I like something that will be a quick permanent fix. I turn to Gorilla Glue for my repairs…and leave that other brand for craft projects.
Gorilla Glue offers their original glue, super glue, plus super glue gel, epoxy, wood glue, tape and storage bags. All Gorilla products are made to give users a strong hold.
For my review, I received white Gorilla Glue, Wood Glue, clear Gorilla Tape and a Gorilla Self-Standing Bag. I had so many items waiting to be repaired so I could hardly wait to get started!
First on my repair list, I had a crack in the plastic piece that goes on the inside of my Tahoe rear hatch door. I applied white Gorilla Glue to help hold the crack together and stop it from growing. Gorilla Glue is waterproof, expands 3-4xs, and can be used both indoor and outdoor. It can be used on foam, glass, wood, stone, metal, ceramic and more. It is unaffected by extreme heat or cold so I knew it would work well in my car. So far, it seems to be working great!
Next on my list was a dresser drawer with weak joints. I was in the early stages of refurbishing this dresser when I noticed one of the drawer joints was loose. I applied Gorilla Wood Glue. Gorilla Wood Glue can be used on hardwoods, softwoods and composites. It will actually bond with any wood or other porous material. It is water resistant and can be used indoor or outdoor. After allowing the drawer to dry, it felt secure and ready to be finished.
Gorilla Tape is my go-to all-purpose tape. It sticks to just about every surface out there. It is weather-resistant, has reinforced backing and a double thick adhesive surface. The first use I had for clear Gorilla Tape was a home décor project. I have these ceramic lace plates hanging on my dining room wall. The plates have ribbon attached to them and then are hung on small hooks. Every time our front door closes, the plates rattle. It drives me bazurk! I have tried the other tape on them, I have tried Velcro squares, I have tried those removable tapes that promise to not wreck your walls and none of them helped! I applied rolled pieces of Gorilla Tape to the back of each plate and like magic, the rattling problem was gone.
The last but not least item I received was a Gorilla Self-Standing Bag. Think of a super duper garbage bag. Gorilla Bags can be used for just about any tough project on your list- DIY project clean-up, trash, yard waste, storage, and so much more. We happened to be packing for a camping trip when our Gorilla Bag arrived. I tossed 4 adult-sized sleeping bags in to the Gorilla Bag easily. This allowed us to keep the bags clean and dry while traveling, plus I can store them in the bag during the off season.
I love all of my Gorilla products!
