Magnets are fun. I still remember enjoying them when I was a kid. Now days, there are some pretty awesome toys that include magnets. Magformers is a company that encompasses magnets into their quality construction sets for ultimate fun. Ever since last November, a single day rarely goes by where our Super Magformers Set is not touched and played with.
Our 2 year old’s day typically begins with heading over to the toy shelf and making a fence around himself with this set! I find it funny that after this many months, our Super Magformers still see daily use by all four of our children. Even the adults who come over are drawn to Magformers.
This time, Magformers sent us their Safari Set for review. This set contains 83 different pieces in 12 different shapes and allows for a variety of animals to be created. From a toucan, lion, ostrich, crocodile, giraffe, flamingo, rhino, elephant, kangaroo, and camel, kids can also get creative and use their imaginations to create anything in between. I love the fact that Magformers includes a step by step idea booklet to get kids off to a running start creating these amazing animals. The best part of Magformers is that the magnets are free-floating inside the pieces which means that they will always connect and never have the negative push off energy of two magnets fighting each other. This feature is especially nice for our 2 and almost 4 year old so they don’t get frustrated. Add in the fact that these are practically indestructible (given that our Super Magformers Set has been used HARD almost daily for so long including being tossed and dropped) and Magformers are a definite “Must Have” toy for every household. Magformers Magnetic Construction Sets do not disappoint and are great for as well as building brain development.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

We’ve had Magformers for a little over a year now, and all three of my kids (ages 11, 7, and almost 2) are still enchanted with them. We own three sets already, and are hoping to expand our collection soon. When friends and cousins come over, everyone, including the 16- and 14-year-old boys, plays with them for hours. Despite the fact that we have around 200 pieces, they still run out and want more to make bigger and more complex creations. This is one of those toys that encourages me to get down on the floor and play with my kids. What more can I say? We love Magformers!

The RC Cruiser set is terrific — kids would really love to play with this.
