I received products from Newman’s Own Organic for my review. All opinions are my own.

It seems as though every time you turn on the news, there is a new study about what foods you should eat and what you shouldn’t. It can be completely overwhelming and frustrating to spend money on foods you think are ‘good’ and then to find out they are actually on the ‘bad’ list. I, being the main grocery shopper in our house, have decided to stick with trusted brands and to take what the news says with a grain of salt.

One of the brands I have come to trust over the years is Newman’s Own Organics. Newman’s Own Organics believes that organic foods not only help us live a healthier life but it is also safer for the environment.

But wait, there is more. In addition to being better for us and safer for the environment, Newman’s Own Organics gives back. Through the sales of products, Newman’s Own Organics is able to donate to the Newman’s Own Foundation which helps educational and charitable organizations around the world. Since 1982, they have donated more than $350 million dollars.

For our review, we received a generous collection of Newman’s Own Organics including: Pretzels, Fig Newman’s, Family Recipe Cookies, Alphabet Cookies, Dried Fruit, and Hermits.

When you bite into a Newman’s Own Organic food, likely the last thing you think about is the ingredients. With these products, that’s OK. They have created high quality products using the best available ingredients.

Some of our favorite ways to eat Newman’s Own Organic pretzels is with homemade black bean hummus or dipped in Henry’s Humdinger spicy artisanal honey. The cookies are great straight from the bag or dipped into your favorite beverage.

We have yet to try a Newman’s Own Organic product we didn’t love. They all taste homemade and are deliciously comforting!
