I went on the search for some fun interactive toys to put under the tree for our toddler this Christmas.  He turned 2 in June and is too old for “baby” toys but can’t quite work all the pieces and parts of the big boy toys.  So I turned to Bright Starts and their collection of fun, eye-catching toys.

The first product I received is the Bright Starts 3-in-1 Step & Ride Lion.  Geared for ages 6-36 months, I love the fact that our newborn baby will also enjoy this toy in a few months.  There are actually three different ways to enjoy the Step & Ride Lion: Children can sit and enjoy him by feeding balls into his mouth, babies and toddlers can walk behind him while using the Lion at support, or children can ride the lion.  The combination of fun music and noises, lights, and spinning balls is sure to please infants and toddlers alike.  The fact that the lion operates with the slight push of his button nose that even a young child will be able to operate is perfect.

We also received the Bright Starts Jungle Fun Ball Climber.  This is a fairly compact toy that offers more ball fun.  Easy operation with a push of the red button sends the balls up the spinning tree, passed the parrot, and out through the hippos mouth with a bounce back into rotation.  An engaging toy that even our 4, 7, and 9 year olds are enthralled with.

A combination of lights, balls, music, and fun await children with these two Bright Starts toys and I’m really excited to be able to put them under the tree this Christmas.
