The next step is to personalize the inside. Both the left and right sides have the options for text, monogram, or photo. The photo options include either a colored laser engraved photo, black and white laser engraved, or paper. The colored laser engraving turns out fantastic from our experiences! With another click of the button, I was on to personalizing the back of my locket. Again, PicturesOnGold.com offers choices. The back can be left blank or personalized with text or a monogram in either block or script writing. I can only speak for the script writing because that’s what I like to choose but it is very pretty. Then I was able to preview my choices and submit my order. Simple and fast, this step-by-step process is exactly the way ordering a special product should be. Within a matter of minutes, my necklace was in the works! Since it normally ships within 1 day, I knew I wouldn’t have to wait long to see my creation either.
My review locket hasn’t yet arrived but, in the past, immediately upon opening a box containing the PicturesOnGold.com Design Your Own Locket, the quality and beauty is evident. The sterling silver locket sparkles and shines. The rolo sterling silver chain has a lobster claw clasp for a secure fit to ensure safe wearing and also seems to “dance” in the light. My daughter as well as a friend both have a PicturesOnGold.com Design Your Own Locket and they both absolutely adore them and gets lots of compliments when they wear these beautiful lockets.
UPDATE: My Design Your Own 2 Photo Laser Engraved Locket has arrived. It is every bit as beautiful and special as I was expecting. This is the first time I’ve seen the 2 photo engraving used and it turned out great. The photos definitely do not do this locket justice!
