Well, the New Year is off to a cold start here in Minnesota. Since we are over two months into 2015, I have been wondering how everyone’s New Year’s Resolutions have been coming along. While mine wasn’t anything real crazy since I wanted to make a resolution that was doable, I’ve still struggled some days. My 2015 resolution was to be active every day. I didn’t put a specific requirement because I know how fast a schedule can change but I wanted to make a conscious effort to be active every day. This could be something as simple as jumping rope for 10 minutes, doing a routine on the steps including toe taps, step runs, etc., or even heading outdoors for a walk or jog. I just wanted to get into the habit of choosing to be more active, if even just a little.
So, for my journey, Topo Athletic sent me a pair of their new Fli-Lyte Shoes in Sea Foam/Tangerine. While Topo Athletic has a variety of shoes geared for different uses, this specific style is an all around versatile shoe that is great for both indoor or outdoor use.

Since it’s Winter and I’m not one to brave these negative wind chills in the name of jogging, my only outdoor testing of these shoes has consisted of jump roping for 5 to 10 minute intervals. Although I did wear these on a day full of errands and was quite impressed with the comfort and lightweight feel. My feet felt great at the end of that day. And come Spring, I’m super excited to have these Fli-Lyte shoes at my disposal. For now, though, these have been great for using during my indoor exercising.

I like the Women’s Oterro shoes. I live in Mn. also. These shoes look very comfortable, but also durable for walking outside. These will especially come in handy when I am at the family farm.
I like The Runventure which is black and turquoise because the colors look great together.
