Palm Breeze pineapple orange mango

Here in Michigan, winter feels so much longer than the 89 or 90 calendar days that it’s supposed to be. It’s usually snowed at least once by mid November, and many years we get one or two additional snow showers after the first of April. By the time that warm weather finally gets here, we are ready to embrace every ounce of summer that mother nature provides us with. I love spending time at the beach, swimming, fishing, camping and just enjoying being outside while it’s nice out.

This year, we are trying to save as much money as possible for a few big purchases that we have coming up. I’ve been working on balancing saving money with enjoying our summer. I’ve found that with the right mindset, it’s possible to have fun without spending hundreds of dollars on a summer getaway. We’ve been fishing and swimming locally, having family BBQs and hanging out in the backyard with a bonfire to relax.

I recently learned about a new flavored malt beverage called Palm Breeze. It’s the first drink to be unabashedly targeted at women which immediately caught my attention. I have a hard time drinking alcohol that has that strong alcohol taste to it, so I tend to look for beverages that advertise themselves as being fruity. Palm Breeze comes in Ruby Red Citrus and Pineapple Mandarin Orange varieties. I picked up a six-pack of Palm Breeze in Pineapple Mandarin Orange. A few days later we decided to grill for dinner, and I thought doing a quick and easy side of watermelon would be perfect to pair with the fruity Palm Breeze beverage. It tasted great with our dinner and I the Palm Breeze was super smooth (and delicious!) to drink, so others who like fruity variations of alcohol without the strong alcohol flavor will definitely enjoy. The flavor description was perfect because it’s primarily a pineapple flavor with just a hint of mandarin orange included.

Ryan & I both opted to ditch our to-do list for the evening and just sit outside and relax and chat. The weather was perfect and it was a super affordable and fun way to create a quick and easy tropical cocktail party right in our backyard. We both agreed that we need to carve our more evenings to just relax and enjoy ourselves like this.

Palm Breeze is targeted at women, but Ryan likes Pineapple and smelling my drink made him curious about trying it. After giving it a try, he decided he liked it just as much as I do. I plan to keep some on hand for future BBQs or parties because I think it will be popular with our friends.

We bought a portable hot tub and a pool that’s 4ft deep and have our fire pit and have friends and family for a bbq or just smores and a few hot dogs over the fire, we have a popcorn maker for over the fire too, we have a ton of fun.

Funny how they target that drink toward women! Yes, I love staying home and taking a vacation seems like a lot of work getting ready and you have tons to do when you get home! Added work and expense–no thanks! I’m a big safety freak and would worry about the house safety too.
