For those who have been Emily Review subscribers for awhile, you may already know that my husband and I have five children.  Their ages range from 1 all the way up to 10 and we also home school.  While neither my husband or myself were home schooled, when our oldest was about three, I casually tossed the idea out there and the rest is history.  When people ask if we plan to home school all the way through high school, I have to honestly say that I just don’t know.  While I’d love to, we will continue this journey for as long as it “works” for our family.  But whether you are a teacher, home schooling, public schooling, tutoring, doing public school at home, or just looking for some extra learning activities, games, and options for your family, Education.com has everyone covered.

Of course, our kiddos have especially been enjoying the games that we’ve discovered at Education.com while I’ve also been extremely pleased with the worksheets available.  Our daughter especially needs extra practice on some of her math skills and it’s been great to just jump over and print pages out for extra practice.  The “Experiment with Quicksand” was also a lot of fun for a hands on science based activity!

  • Verdict:  I think that Education.com has a really nice variety of educational materials available and I’m always excited when I can create an environment where learning is more fun.  The site is easy to maneuver and the resources are plenty.  Overall, I think it’s a great value for the subscription rates.  Just be sure to take advantage of all their great materials!
