Thank you to Steve Spangler Science for providing product in exchange for review. All opinions belong to myself.

Science, most of us love it and most of us want to furnish a love for it within our children. Now you could spend hours googling different age appropriate science experiments of your little ones. Dint forget the supplies list, most of the time indulging weird outlandish things you’ve never heard of or never used before. By the time you get everything together and ready it might be a week from when you saw the science project to begin with. Why make it so hard when the Spangler Science Club can cover all the bases for you?

The name Steve Spangler may or may not sound familiar to you, as he is a very enthusiastic science educator that has been seen on shows such as ellen and Today show. Spangler Science club is a science based subscription box intended to help create the base for a love of science within the family and the home. The Spangler Science club ships out monthly for $34.99. Choosing the subscription box will get you the monthly box delivered right to your door, however there are other more specific choices you can make. Spangler science allows you to pick any themed box individually. Themes from Spangler Science range from Newton’s Antics, Slime Time, After Dinner Science, Gooey Worm Wonders and more.

Spangler Science Club Review

I received a box themed around color science. My 4 year old and 1 year old are always excited to get up to the table and do anything together from baking, cooking, arts and crafts and now science as well. My husband has a love for science as well so I let him take on the show for this review. Inside the box was close to everything that we needed. We were unable to do a few of the extra projects as they called for a few household items that we just don’t ever have on hand.

Not only did we receive most of the tools needed but also a workbook for the children and a secret information book for the adult running the show. This book broke down how to present the information as well as why each event within the experiment was happening. This was quite the handy tool for the all too often heard “why” we parents tend to hear.

As my four year old isn’t quite at the learning level yet, I wrote down his guesses for him as well as the results as we went through each experiment.

So my opinion of the Spangler Science Kit? The whole family enjoyed the science projects within. Often times my husband was just as, if not more, intrigued than my kids were by the reactions we witnessed. This was a box designed to help families learn together, so tossing it to your kids and walking away isn’t really an option. The more excited you are about the whole thing the more excited your kids will be. The Steve Spangler kit would be a great gift for a family.

This is great! Not only does it look like a lot of fun, but the educational aspect is important, too. Especially with girls, this country is starting to lag behind others in science and math. This will foster a good interst in science!

This is a wonderful subscription box, and saves you the headache of drumming up the ideas and saves you money in the long run so you don’t have all these chemicals, etc. that you don’t ordinarily want!

I’m looking for new activities to do with my 4-year-old daughter. She loves art and crafts but I wanted to broaden our scope of learning activities. I think this will be a great new one for us to try. Plus it will show her that girl’s can rock science too! 🙂
