Realistic looking dolls are all the rage these days. I am so amazed at how life-like many can be! A few years ago, a lady came over to look at a stroller I was selling and she brought one of her “babies” with. Well, my sister-in-law showed up to do speech with our son and asked if she could hold the baby. After several minutes, we caved and had to tell her that he wasn’t real! She couldn’t believe it and we all had a good laugh. So I have to admit that I’m just as crazy about realistic looking dolls as the next person and when I was offered the chance to review Holly & Harper from Paradise Galleries, I was super excited.
Holly & Harper is a recently launched doll by the artist, Jannie de Lange. Holly is a beautiful and realistic looking toddler doll that is sure to light up any room! Measuring in at 20″ from head to toe, she also features a weighted body for a more life-like feel.
Dressed in a classic floral print dress with ivory lace details, she also comes with matching lace ballet slippers. She loves to travel with her faithful fuzzy sidekick, Harper the Bear. Harper even comes with a matching ribbon around his neck.
Created with attention to details, Holly features hand painted rosy cheeks, lovely blue eyes, and long eyelashes that really make her eyes pop. Her chestnut brown colored hair is styled with a headband and pink flower, which matches her outfit perfectly.
Holly & Harper are a precious duo that are easy to love. So lifelike and sweet, her little face is a joy for our daughter to see each day!
