In my previous Peaceable Kingdom post, I mentioned that we had added some foster children to our family. You can read more about that as well as some thoughts over at the Peaceable Kingdom Friends and Neighbors Game Review. But today on the line-up, I was thrilled to partner again with this awesome company to try out some more of their fun new products.
First off, with the changes happening and all of the chaos we’ve been experiencing since starting foster care, I knew that our oldest daughter (who is 11), would need some where to be able to track, talk about, and delve into her feelings. While we had a family meeting and talked to the kids before starting this journey, there was no way that any of us would truly know what it would entail until we were knee deep. So I thought the Unicorn Dreams Invisible Ink Lock & Key Diary would be a great resource for her.
This Diary measures in at about 5 1/2″ by 6 1/4″ and features hard cover construction. Inside, there are 216 lined pages perfect for tracking thoughts and memories as well as special pages for invisible writing with the included special pen. The Diary comes complete with a lock and two keys. The unicorn design on the cover is super cute while the smoldering of colors blends into a mystical style that our daughter loves.
The last product I wanted to mention is Peaceable Kingdom’s Preschool Numbers Pair Up Learning Puzzles. As I work at teaching our young children letters, sounds, numbers, and counting, I’m always on the hunt to add fun and educational products to our collection.
While geared for ages 3+, my motto is that kids are never too young to start learning and I love included our (almost) two year old when we play. These sturdy cardboard puzzle pieces come in pairs numbering one through twelve. The designs are simple, yet fun for kids while the single puzzle design makes putting pairs together easy. This is a super cute set that we adore and our little one especially loves the handy little strap for carrying!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I love the puzzle but my fave here is the unicorn diary with the must-have lock and keys! I loved writing in my diary as a kid and still journal every single day. I think it’s a great activity to develop and nurture over the years. You’re never too old to have a “dear diary”!
