Thank you to boon for sending the PULP for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
boon PULP
Our daughter is almost eleven months old and we are starting to feed her more and more ‘big person’ food. I was excited to have the opportunity to partner with boon to review their new product. PULP is a silicone feeder that allows baby to self-feed on fruits and vegetables.

We tried the boon PULP with bananas and apples so far. Our daughter really seems to like the colorful design and the ability to munch on the tasty fruit. I love the fact that I didn’t have to worry about her choking! As you can see from the pictures this new product was a hit!

Our daughter is also teething again. She got her bottom two teeth between eight and nine months old and now we are anxiously awaiting the emergence of her top teeth. Since she’s been a bit more fussy than usual this past week, we are thinking that her next two pearly whites should be making their appearance soon. She enjoyed using the boon PULP with a small ice cube in it. She was able to gnaw on the soft silicone cover that was chilled by the ice underneath and then slurp up the chilly water as the ice cube slowly melted.

I appreciate that the boon PULP is easy to use. You just add the food or ice to the cover then snap the cover on to the handle. It seemed very secure and I wasn’t worried about her choking. I also liked that it is easy to clean – it is top rack dishwasher safe and rinsed out easily after each use. Finally I appreciated that it is BPA, PVC & phthalate free.

That’s unique idea! Sure looks like she’s enjoying it!

  • What a great idea. People are so innovative. I am glad it is working for you. Thank you for the review.

That is a great product! I wish they had it when my kids were small. I will have to write this down because it would make a great baby shower gift.

What a clever invention and so useful! And she is just sooo precious! I make fabric flower accessories to give as gifts, so that one caught my eye – nice!

This looks so much easier to clean than the mesh bag type feeders. Oh my gosh. I’m looking into this for my next kiddo.

I am going to have to tell my daughter about this one for my granddaughter. Wish they had these when my kids were young.

This sounds like it would be good for my sister to try with her child.

Great innovative product but I’d still worry about the material since the child is directly chewing on it. I know they say these new materials are free from all the bad things, but of course, it hasn’t had years of testing. Great design though and I’m sure it would help with choking risk.

Oooh very neat!! I loved the mesh version of these but what always worried about them getting stuck on my son’s teeth!!

oh my gosh. First of all she is absolutely adorable and love her big smile! she seems to really enjoy her boon PULP! what a great idea. I had something similar to this when my girls were young but the cover was mesh and I actually did not like it for that reason. Now this is a great idea!

This is so cool!! I had something similar for my daughter, only it was mesh that you kept the fruit/ice in. It was a cool concept, but this one is much better! I will definitely recommend this to my mommy friends with babies. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  • What a brilliant design. I wish that they had had those when my daughter was that age!

  • Dandi D

These look so neat and I wish I had had some for my children!

This product makes a lot of sense. For one thing even without the choking risk, it’s hard for a baby ot hold on to a fruit without dropping it. Since this product has a handle its much easier for them to hold on to. Love the idea!

I have never heard or seen this item before. It looks like a great idea with the way its made like its easy to grip !

These are so great, I will have to look for some for my granddaughter, she would probably enjoy this since she is just starting to go through that teething stage.

I bet that ice in there made her teething bit more bearable for her. Thats a very clever idea, and perfect for kids her age. She sure looks like she is enjoying her new treat, and it is nice there is no choking concerns with this!
