I have a form of insomnia, so I have tried everything to get a good night’s rest. I get tired during the day but when it comes to trying to sleep at night, I usually struggle to fall asleep for hours. One of the things I never really considered was getting new pillows. I just figured since I had so many pillows on my bed, that couldn’t of been the issue. When Relax Home Life contacted me to do a review for their new Bamboo Pillow line, I thought it was a great chance to see if this could help me.
Relax Home Life is a website catered to items for your home. More specifically, they have recently launched a new line of bamboo pillows that ensure you a great night’s sleep. Their pillows are made with breathable bamboo fabric so you won’t wake up in a sweat. Every pillow is also made to mold and align to any sleep style including sleeping on your stomach, side, or back. But the most important quality of these pillows is that they can provide relief from insomnia, snoring, migraines, neck and back pain, allergies, TMJ, and more.
I received the Medium Firm Bamboo Pillow with Shredded Memory Foam and the Bamboo Pillow with Shredded Down Alternative. The first thing I noticed when receiving the pillows is that they came rolled up. They were actually really heavy in this form! The directions explained that you had to unwrap the pillow and let it naturally unfold itself so that it is in its truest form. I thought this was pretty unique – I’ve never seen a pillow that came like this.
The Medium Firm Bamboo Pillow with Shredded Memory Foam ended up being a little flatter than the other pillow I received, of course because it has memory foam inside. Kyle primarily uses this one because he likes the firmness. The pillow actually does mold to every sleep style and Kyle has mentioned that ever since we received these pillows, he’s been sleeping better and longer. He also doesn’t wake up sweaty like he normally does because the bamboo cover really promotes cooling and temperature regulation. The cover is also able to come off to be washed, which is convenient.
I have been using the Bamboo Pillow with Shredded Down Alternative. It’s fluffier and more flexible since it doesn’t have memory foam, but it has the same features. I can honestly say that I’ve found some relief when using this pillow. While it hasn’t cured my insomnia, it has made me less prone to allergies and asthma attacks. I used to get bad allergies in my bedroom and sometimes wasn’t able to breathe, but since receiving these pillows I have felt a huge difference. I also notice that when I have headaches, it eases a little bit when resting my head on this pillow.
Overall, Kyle and I actually really enjoy using the Bamboo Line of pillows from Relax Home Life. I feel like even though they didn’t cure my problems, they make it easier for me to relax and rest. Kyle also gets some of the best sleeps he’s ever had using the memory foam. I can’t wait to continue using these and seeing what else improves. The pillows would be an awesome gift for anyone in your life that suffers some of the problems mentioned above.

This is on my wish list and I really want to try it. I tend to like more squishy pillows so glad they have different choices to order. I don’t have trouble sleeping but sometimes sleep on my neck wrong so investing in a good pillow would help with that.

I’ve seen ads for bamboo pillows but didn’t know much about them. I had a great pillow a few years ago but it finally needed to be replaced and I couldn’t find it anymore. So far none of the replacements are that great. I think I would like the down filled one as I tend to be a side sleeper and memory foam tends to get my neck out of line. Thanks for the honest review.

I’m so happy you’ve found some relief with these pillows! My husband and I have been searching for great pillows for quite a while now. It’s such a difficult purchase because everyone is so different and you can’t really try them before you buy. I suffer from TMJ and my husband has back problems. These are going to the top of our list for the next ones to try!

Those pillows look terrific. The look comfortable to sleep on. I have heard how comfortable bamboo is, but havent tried it. I like how the pillows come rolled and expand- thats pretty neat!

I have never tried any bamboo products. These pillows sound like something I could use as I suffer from insomnia as well. Getting a goods nights sleep is so important and I need it!

I love the idea of bamboo pillows. I’m always looking for THE pillow. I think I would like the shredded down alternative pillow. It sounds like it would stay fluffy and not go flat after a week.
I have never tried bamboo before but everyone seems to really like them!!
