Thank you to Nutrisystem for providing me with products in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.

I suspect many people believe that while on Nutrisystem, you are constantly hungry. I want to let you know that simply isn’t true. I have something to eat about every three hours. I wake at 6:00 and have a protein drink (my favorite is chocolate with cayenne pepper and greens). At 9:00 I have breakfast. Noon is when I eat my largest meal of the day, a dinner entree. Around 3:00 I have a snack. 6:00 I sit down with my family for their dinner/my lunch. When the girls go to bed, I enjoy another snack. If at any time, I was hungry, I can always much on vegetables.

The photo below shows you what I had to eat on Monday. I had a protein shake, buttermilk waffles,  meatballs in marinara sauce over spaghetti squash, an apple with peanut butter, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a dark chocolate & sea salt nut bar. Sounds great, right? It was!

Nutrisystem Meals

Superbowl is this Sunday. Do you plan on watching the game? Are you attending or hosting a get-together? I am hosting a party for our friends. I plan on making the Nutrisystem Loaded Potatoe Skin recipe.

Ingredients
1 small russet potato (3 oz)
Non-stick zero-calorie cooking spray
Pepper
¼ cup shredded low-fat cheese
2 Tbsp. tomatoes, diced
Pinch of chives
1 Tbsp. reduced fat sour cream (or greek yogurt)

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Pierce potato several times with a fork or knife. Place the potato on oven rack and bake until a knife easily pierces the potato, about 50 minutes.
Let potato cool for 10 minutes.
Slice potato in half lengthwise. Using a spoon, scoop out flesh, leaving about ¼ inch intact (toss remaining flesh or save it for another recipe).
Spray the potato with a nonstick spray and season with pepper.
Broil until the potato skin is crisp, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from oven.
Fill each skin evenly with cheese, place back into the oven and broil until cheese is melted. Remove the potato skin from the oven.
Top each skin with sour cream, diced tomatoes and a sprinkle of chives.

Number of Servings: 1
On Nutrisystem, Counts As: 1/2 SmartCarb, 1 PowerFuel and 1 Extra

Sounds delicious! I can hardly wait.

You have been doing well. I am glad to hear you changed you big meal from dinner to lunch, it made the scales move again! The loaded potato skins sound good and I am sure others will enjoy the fact they are mindful of calories too. It is so easy to over eat during the game!
