I was sent Mynt Smart Trackers in return for my review. All opinions are my own.
Have you ever found yourself wishing you could call your lost wallet in the way that you can call your lost cell phone? Mynt Smart Trackers are devices that let you do just that. Well, they don’t let you place a phone call to your lost items but it makes them beep so that you can find them easily.
The Smart Trackers are small, thin keychains. They are thin enough to fit in with cards in your wallet. We opted to add one to Ryans’ keys, one to his wallet and one to my digital camera. Those are the three items that we seem to lose the most. I keep my wallet and keys in my purse so that makes them much harder to lose.
You can use the Mynt app from your phone or tablet. There is a button on each tracker that you can sync with your device. Then once the item is lost, you can open the app on your phone or tablet, select the lost item and it will begin to beep. If you choose, you can also request that your phone or tablet alerts you if your items get too far apart. For example, if you put your settings to alert you when your wallet and phone are too far apart, your phone will buzz to notify you that you may have left your wallet at home.
We’ve had this system for a few weeks and It’s helped me to find my camera twice already! While in the past I’ve never permanently lost my camera, I find myself searching the house and couch cushions for it about once a week. It’s nice to have the Mynt program to make that search much faster.

I think it’s cool that it can function as a pet tag. It can even go in kids clothing so if they wander away you are alerted.
