Every child needs a best friend, whether that takes the form of a furry pet, playmate close in age, or even a doll.  Any of these friends are the perfect companion to help them get through long summers and days spent at home.  So with that, Starpath Dolls is a new company offering a unique spin on their dolls who can offer companionship, acceptance, and love.  Created by a mother who has a young daughter that loves to read, Starpath Dolls was created to intertwine this passion along with the classic toy doll.

The adventures of reading and the fun of playing with dolls is a great pair for any child to enjoy.  It allows them to transport themselves on journeys and to far away places that they may not ever go.  Including the companionship of a doll along with for that adventure is the perfect combination.  So when I was sharing Starpath Dolls and the customizable chapter books with our daughter, she was over the moon excited!

As we looked over the different multi-ethnic doll options that Starpath Dolls offers, she kept coming back to Wishing Star.  Featuring long black hair, dark eyes, and an aqua colored sundress, she kept saying that she thought this particular doll was gorgeous and really liked the black hair.  Once Wishing Star arrived, she was even happier with her choice!

As I mentioned, what really makes Starpath Dolls extraordinary is the fact that they offer personalized chapter books that create an unforgettable read with over 20 personal preferences woven throughout the story!  Books can come as ebooks or a paperback that arrives in approximately a week.  Simply fill out the short “quiz” to provide the name of the child, which doll they have, favorite color, pet name, and more to create a truly one-of- a-kind book that makes this book a story of her own! 

Currently, Starpath Dolls has two story options: A Fairy Tale Gone Wrong and Tiger Magic.  This was another tough choice as we were intrigued by both!  However, A Fairy Tale Gone Wrong won out as our daughter was always a princess and fairy tale fan growing up and those still hold a special place in her heart.

Even though Starpath Dolls are geared for girls ages 5-9, our daughter recently turned 12 and is having a blast with Wishing Star and her adventure story.  While they experienced a bit of printing problems with our first copy, they quickly and efficiently corrected the issue and the books being shipped are now perfect!  It’s short enough that young girls can read fairly easily but neat enough that older girls also enjoy.

Even our 2 1/2 year old daughter wants to get in on the action as she also loves her big sister’s Wishing Star doll.  They’ve had tea parties together and spent lots of time playing.  Starpath Dolls are really neat and I think they will be a huge hit with girls everywhere!
