I received the Floatimini Rash Guard & Capris to facilitate this review.  All opinions are my own.

This summer, I’ve made it a special point to spend extra time outdoors with the kids.  Many times, this has come in the form of heading to local parks and playgrounds.  Sometimes there are splash pads or water options available as well which makes the trip a little more fun.  But either way, keeping the kids safe from the sun is always on my mind.  While I do utilize sunblock too, I love having sun protective clothing as my first line of defense.  Even better is when the pieces can double as swimwear!  Enter: Floatimini.

While Floatimini has some really cute typical swimwear options, I fell in love with their Pink Daisies Hooded Zip-up Rash Guard and Pink Daisies Capri Swim Tights.  Made from the same material as swimwear, this fun combo has been the perfect solution for park days as well as letting our daughter hit the splash pad.

Both comfortable and lightweight, this rash guard features a hood, front pockets, and a full front zipper for easy on and off.  The capri swim tights are knee length which offers great coverage while also offering cool comfort for wear.

Our daughter has used this set both wet and dry and it’s been great.  The comfortable design allows for easy playground climbing, sliding, swinging, and running.

Even wet, Floatimini sun protective clothing didn’t slow her down!  And with the 82% nylon, 18% spandex construction, the sun had her dry again in no time.

We found these two particular pieces to run true to size.  I typically put her in size 3 now (she’ll be turning 3 in September).  Both the Rash Guard as well as Swim Tights are a size 3 and fit well with a little room to spare since I just bumped her into this size.

Overall, we are completely satisfied with the quality as well as fun bright print of our Floatimini pieces.  (And did you see those adorable elbow patches!?!)  One thing to note is that the tag says to hand wash and line dry.  Although, since you’re never supposed to machine dry swimwear, that’s not a surprise.  I keep a drying rack in our laundry room for swimwear and her set is dry in no time.
