Marlo’s Bakeshop began with Grandmom Ann’s’ secret recipe for soft-baked biscotti. Grandmom Ann had kept her cherished recipe a secret for over 50 years! Then she decided to share it with Marlo. Today, Marlo enjoys using Grandmom Ann’s recipe to make soft-soft baked biscottis for her customers. Marlo’s Bakeshop soft-baked biscottis are made with premium ingredients; never any preservatives or artificial ingredients.
For our review, we received a generous assortment of soft-baked biscotti including The Original, Chocolate Pumpkin Pie, Coffee Cake, Chocolate Chip Brownie, and Banana Bread.
Prior to receiving our goodies, I wondered what a soft-baked biscotti was. When I thought of biscotti, I imagined a thick hard biscuit. I was intrigued how a soft-baked biscotti would be different. Would it crumble and be more like a scone? Perhaps it would be somewhere in between a hard biscuit and a crumbly scone? The answer is yes…it is somewhere in between a hard biscuit and a crumbly scone. The outside feels firm, yet when you bite, it has a delicate texture.
Marlo’s Bakeshop soft-baked biscotti are delicious straight from the package. This morning, I chose to heat my Chocolate Pumpkin Pie biscotti in the microwave for a few seconds and then dunked into my morning coffee. Oh My! My two young daughters enjoy dipping their biscotti into a glass of cold milk. No matter how you eat your soft-baked biscotti, you are sure to enjoy them! Each of the biscotti flavors we received were yummy! I don’t think we had any favorites, they were all equally tasty.
I am so glad I tried Marlo’s Bakeshop soft-baked biscotti. Now I know what a soft-baked biscotti is!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
