Growing up, I remember playing with baby dolls all the time.  I was in love with babies and since I only had one younger sibling, dolls were the only way I’d get to “play mommy”.  My sister and I would spend our entire Summers feeding, changing, rocking, walking, and playing with our dolls.  It was a great time that I look back on fondly and hope our daughter has some of those same joyous experiences and memories as she grows.

Our daughter just recently turned nine and adores kittens.  Since we farm, there are always a bunch of cats around and a few litters of kittens a year as well so I imagine that is where her love of this animal came from.  So, when I laid eyes on the Adora Dolls “The Cat’s Meow”, I thought it would be perfect for her and was thrilled when Adora agreed to send us this beautiful doll to review.

This doll is gorgeous in person.  Her eyes are a shiny blue, hair is in soft blond curls, and her skin has nice tints over it to give her a more realistic appearance.  Her body is soft and her head, hands, and feet are plastic.  She comes dressed in one piece outfit topped with a ruffled skirt and hooded vest.  Her little sandals pull the complete look together with the face of a kitten on them.  “The Cat’s Meow” doll is one of the prettiest dolls I have ever seen and our daughter loves her.
