They were one of the top brands involved in the deadly chicken jerky recalls of the past few years. While I try to give brands the benefit of the doubt with recalls- it’s all in how they handle it and their honesty with customers- I *Didn’t* like how they handled the recall at all. Denial, denial, denial until they were forced to pull their product from the shelves. They may be made in the USA now (are they *sourced* in the USA though?) but it’s too little, too late for me. I could never give them to my dogs and feel absolutely confident that they’re safe- and a treat just isn’t worth the risk.
