I’m a bit sad to say that it’s almost time to pack up the flip flops and summer clothes.  Here in Minnesota, the month of September tends to bring in cooler temps for the better part of most days.  The last few days have even had a cooler north wind blowing in.  So as we start making these preparations, I turned to pediped for a new pair of shoes for our 6 year old son.

Utilizing the pediped sizing chart, we settled on a size EU 31.  The Flex Highlanders do come with the Flex Fit System, which means that pediped has included additional insoles that can easily be inserted to provide a more snug and secure fit.  As the child grows, they can then be removed to allow for additional room.  This special system can reduce the shoe size by almost 1/2 a size, therefore, extending the life of each pair of Flex footwear!

Designed with two hook and loop closures on each shoe, when the straps are open, the shoe opens nice and wide.  Because of this great feature, our son can easily get these shoes on and off quickly without needing assistance.

This vegan pair of shoes is created using no animal products or by-products while offerings some great features.  They have a flexible rubber sole that allows kids to easily play on the playground with uninhibited movement.

The Microfiber leather upper paired with fabric lining offers a comfortable and long-lasting wear.  Nobody likes shoes that pinch, pull, and cause discomfort so high quality design with premium products is essential when it comes to our kid’s footwear.  Thankfully, pediped understands this and goes above and beyond when creating their shoes.
