In reply to Peg. Hi Peg, No it does not. You will just want a flat supportive surface to place it on. RV beds typically have a solid wooden slat, correct? If so, that should work!

Does this mattress have to be placed on box springs? We have a 5th wheel and need to get
a new mattress, but RV beds don’t hold box springs and a mattress…they normally have
just a mattress, for access to storage under the layer that supports the mattress

We purchased a memory foam mattress about 10 years ago. It was a bit disappointing for us because it sags when we lay on it. It seems worse in the summer. Your review indicates to me that perhaps the technology has become better.

Ilive in Canada and needed a new mattress so bad, and really wanted a memory foam one, I found one almost exactly like this, came vacuum sealed too at staples very cheap and boy what a great sleep I get

We opted to buy a new mattress this past summer. We actually went with a hybrid – coil system plus foam. We are really happy with our choice.
