I had heard that biotin should be taken from other people and asked my dermatologist about it. He had me taking prenatals for hair-health purposes already. He said prenatal vitamins include a lot of biotin, folic acid and other supplements that are all great for hair health, so he said taking biotin in addition wouldn’t be necessary but biotin is definitely a good thing to make sure you’re getting if you have hair breakage or hair loss issues. 🙂
