When I have any kind of buns left over I toast them in the oven. They keep a lot longer. Just store in a bag.

Yes, great ideas. Since mine are usually onion buns, bread pudding is out but going to try the mini pizzas as we always have pepperoni and cheese on hand. Croutons also. Thanks!!

good to know,,i have sometimes put butter and garlic powder on them and toasted them in the oven and made garlice toast for pasta dishes

In reply to Peggy Nunn. This is my #1 way to use them up. I just toss in the freezer and use over a few weeks when I make spaghetti, lasagna, etc. No biggie if they get a little stale since you can't tell once you bake them!

During the summer we throw them on the grill and melt cheese for open faced sandwiches. I am going to try the crouton idea for something different.

I like the idea of using them as Garlic Bread. They are probably getting a little stale anyway. This is a perfect solution.
