Oh, great question! For a blowout, it wouldn’t be too bad as the seat pad would hopefully catch it all and is easily removed to wash. If there’s a vomit situation, this seat doesn’t appear to be as easy to clean as some (although most are fairly tricky in my opinion.) The main part of the seat would most likely need to be hand cleaned.
CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry.
CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants.
CLEANING HARNESS: Surface wash only with mild soap & damp cloth or wipes. Do not immerse harness straps or latch strap in water.
CLEANING HARDGOODS: Metal and plastic parts may be cleaned with mild soap & cool water.
