There are so many baby carriers out there. The baby K’tan is truly unique. The k’tan is a mix of a traditional sling carrier and a structured front carrier. It has two loops, instead of being one string, and there is no buckling or wrapping. It can be worn in multiple positions, depending on the age and size of your baby. For newborns who don’t have good neck control yet, it can be worn like the photo on the left, so that babys head and neck are supported. Once baby gains neck and head control, you can slide him over and carry him belly to belly, but allow his head to be unsupported. There are several other positions that can be used as well, such as those pictured below.

Unlike many other carriers that expect everyone to be the same size, the K’tan comes in sizes xs-xl, making the carrier a better fit for you. Baby K’tan has an exchange policy that allows you to return the carrier for the proper size, if you realize upon delivery that the carrier doesn’t fit you. The K’tan fits babies from 8lbs-35lbs, making it a great buy.

Baby K’tan has offered a baby k’tan at a sample price of 35.00, for the benefit of march of dimes. The carriers typically retail for 64.99, making this a great bargain.

To enter: If you are the first bidder, you can bid as low as 35.00. If you aren’t the first bidder, please make sure your bid is higher than the previous bid. This auction is open to the US and will end April 28th at noon EST. At the end of the auction, the high bidder will be asked to make a donation to the march of dimes via the widget in my sidebar. Once the donation has been made, I’ll gather their address and send it to baby k’tan who will ship out the carrier.
