I don’t have any kids, but I’ve dreamed about my future children since I was probably two or three. I’m blessed with a huge extended family, including over 15 nieces/nephews. I have always found the birth of a new baby to be one of the most amazing, emotional experiences that humans experience. So, although I haven’t yet been there with my own kids, I was really touched by so many of the stories found in Chicken Soup For The Soul: New Moms. The book includes stories of pregnancy, birth and of course, new babies. Like so many of the other Chicken Soup For The Soul books, the stories really hit your heart. For me, these ones hit even more than the other books, simply because they’re about babies and anyone who has sat at the hospital awaiting a new niece, nephew, cousin, or baby of their own knows that feeling. These stories do a great job of bringing those feelings back out through reading about the experiences of others. The stories are beautiful and this book would make a great gift to someone who is expecting for a baby shower, mothers day, etc. It’s a great book and well priced at just 10.17 on amazon.com.
