MAM is a baby products company focused on combining design with functionality or, as the website states, high-quality baby products offering a medical benefit. All MAM products are BPA-free, and made only from safe alternative materials. MAM operates with a focus on creating stylish, unique, yet completely functional baby products that stem from the collaboration of artistic designers, scientists, medical practitioners, midwives, and developmental psychologists. The line includes bottles, cups, pacifiers, oral care, and teethers. For my review, I received a set of three self-sterilizing Anti-Colic 8 oz. bottles, as well as four MAM Perfect Pacifiers. My Niece is 4 months old so I asked my Sister-in-Law to help me with this review; the following are her words.

The  Anti-Colic bottles that I received were a neutral tan color with a fun bunny and leaf pattern. The nipples are incredibly soft and shaped to fit baby’s mouth well. My four month old daughter has been using bottles for quite some time, so I can’t say whether these make a transition from breast to bottle easier, but she had no issues switching from previous bottles to these bottles. My daughter tends to gulp and swallow a lot of air when using other bottles, but that didn’t happen with these. On the nights that I’ve used these bottles she tends to sleep a little sounder; less tossing and turning, which to me says these might be a little easier on her tummy. My all-time favorite feature of these bottles is the ability to self-sterilize – it’s a genius idea, and the process is simple: fill the base with the recommended amount of water, follow the directions to assemble the pieces together, then microwave for three minutes, let sit for five minutes, and you have sterilized bottles! These are definitely the bottles that I’m dragging with me for hotel stays because then I don’t have to lug any extra sterilizing equipment.

The Perfect Pacifiers that I received came in three gorgeous colors; two were green with a silver swirl pattern, one was pink with a gold design, and the last one was blue with a silver star design. The base of the pacifiers were very well designed in that they were not a solid piece of plastic, but were a pretty open swirl pattern that allows air to get to baby’s skin. The open base design also allows room to attach a pacifier clip, which is a great feature since my daughter loves to drop her pacifiers on the floor. The nipples are designed of very soft silicone – I could definitely feel a difference between these pacifiers and the others that we’d been using.  My daughter took to them very well, and has actually started to prefer them over the ones that she had used previously. Each pacifier came in its own storage box, which doubles as a sterilizer. The sterilization process is simple; place the pacifier in the clip inside the case, fill the case to the recommended level with water, and microwave for 3 minutes. Once they’ve had a chance to cool for 5 minutes, they’re ready to go. Great to travel with!

Wow I feel very lucky to have just come across the giveaway as I have been doing research on bottles for my daughter who is expected Feb 2nd. I plan to breastfeed and need something that will help her adjust to the bottle as well, I truly feel this is what these bottles will do. I hope you give me the chance to test these out and share with my friends how great these MAM products really are. Thank you for giving this opportunity to one lucky family.
