I’ve written in the past about how Kidtoons is a group that selects a movie to feature each month that is 100% safe for kids so parents don’t have to worry about whether the films will be appropriate for their child. The kidtoons film for December is Barbie the princess and the pop star. I’m sure this movie will be popular among girls because it seems like every little girl I know is interested in princesses and of course, dolls and pop stars are big areas of interest for them as well. When you put them all together you’d probably be hard pressed to find a girl who wouldn’t like some aspect of this film. You can see the list of Kidtoons Theaters to find a participating location near your home. If you head out to the theater with your family be sure to print this bogo coupon so that you can get one of your tickets for free. The coupon is valid through Dec 31st of 2012 and is limited to one per family.
If you have a printer you can check out the kidtoons website for two free printable coloring pages for this film as well. It would be a fun activity to do with your children before or after heading to the theater.
