Baltimore Bumble Crafts began when Vanessa inherited Jane’s (her boyfriend’s Mom) soap recipe. Jane had created this recipe when her kids were young. They had sensitive skin and needed a cleanser that wouldn’t irritate their skin…something that store bought soaps were guilty of. Jane taught Vanessa how to make her “Plain Jane Soap.” Vanessa took this tried and true recipe and made it her own.

Baltimore Bumble Crafts offers Scrubs, Exfoliants, Lotion Bars, Bumble Balms, Soaps and Shampoos. For my review, I received two Organic Soaps- Hon(ey) and Oat-Miel.

Vanessa’s soaps are made with 100% organic vegetable oils and all-natural essential oils. She hand makes each product in small batches to ensure the highest quality. Each batch is 100% unique with their own special color and pattern characteristics.

Hon(ey) Soap contains organic honey. Honey has been shown to be a wonderful natural humectant. During the colder months, I and other members of my family notice a real change in our skin. It becomes dry and sometimes will crack and bleed. The Hon(ey) soap is great for moisturizing those irritated spots.

Oat-Miel Soap has colloidal oatmeal and organic honey in it. It helps calm irritated skin. I have eczema. I found the Oat-Miel Soap to be very comforting to my sensitive skin.

Vanessa suggests protecting your natural soaps by storing them in a cool dry area. While they are in use, make sure they are on a dish with holes to drain away the extra moisture.

Baltimore Bumble Crafts is on facebook and twitter.
