Such a big part of holiday celebrations has to do with food. There are lots of food gift basket companies out there and GoPicnic’s Simply Delicious Holiday Box is a set that will appeal to health conscious gourmet food lovers.
The kit includes a variety of snacks including cinnamon popcorn, pepper-jack cheese, crackers, chocolate, gourmet mustard, chocolate vanilla swirl cookies, a small summer sausage, peppermint drops and a GoPicnic Turkey Sick and crunch box. The Gopicnic box had a small turkey stick (think half of a slim jim), a really small bag of PopChips, a Niagara Natural Tropical Fruit Bites, a fruit & nut mix and a chocolate cookie. The package arrives in a really neat red box that is exciting to receive – making this a nice gift to mail to a loved one who doesn’t live near you. It’s also nice to take some of the stress of entertaining off of the entertainer because everyone can snack from this set. Ryan & I are both rather picky eaters but we enjoyed almost everything in this set. While I can’t say that I would be the type to splurge on this box, it’s a nice gift idea for those of you who aren’t so frugal or don’t have such a limited budget. Ryan’s favorite part was the pepper-jack cheese that was creamy and indulgent. I really enjoyed the summer sausage and would like to see GoPicnic assemble a similar package that is more generous with their selection of meat and cheeses, seems how we regularly set out summer sausage with crackers and cheese for gatherings. I also really liked the Niagara Natural Tropical Fruit Bites. I’ve tried other all natural fruit leathers or “roll up” type snacks before but didn’t care for the taste. The tropical fruit bites had a sweet flavor and had a nice texture as well, as they were soft enough to easily chew through without being rough or tough feeling.

There is so much in this box that I love. The Kettlecorn popcorn is like a piece of heaven. The turkey sausage is a great add. I do not see a lot of these boxes with turkey added. I would love to have this basket. I could see myself chomping away on the goodies lol. I would share some but eat most of it all by myself…
