In 1986, Sharon and Thomas Webber opened Super Duper Publications. They had two products and two different kinds of stickers. Sharon, a Speech-Language Pathologist, was designing products that were easy to use in therapy settings. Thomas at the time was an attorney but, would later go into developing therapy products as well. Today, they have hundreds of educational products that were designed to assists in many areas including- articulation, auditory, autism, bilingual, critical thinking, early & basic skills, fine & motor development, grammar, language, math & money, motivational, occupational therapy, phonics & spelling, questioning, reading, sign language, social skills, and more.
For our review, we received two sets of Fun Decks in Auditory Memory- Rhyming Words In Sentences and Mini-Mysteries.
Auditory Memory- Rhyming Words In Sentences Fun Deck enables your little one to say a rhyming sentence and listen to the sounds that the letters make. This is a deck of 53 cards with 38 short vowel and 15 long vowel cards.
I chose this fun deck for my almost 4 year old Daughter. She has the same vocabulary as her older sister but, at times it can be difficult to understand her. When I ordered this set, I imagined myself saying the rhyme and her repeating it so she could work on her phonics skills. Not only is this being accomplished but she is also able to use these cards to practice reading her sight words. She has had a blast reading the silly rhymes to us.
Mini-Mysteries Fun Deck lets your little detective solve the case. Each of the 56 cards has a different “who, what, why, when, or where” problem needing to be solved. They give you three clues on the back of the card that help guide you to the answer.
I chose this deck of cards for my 6 year old Daughter. Her kindergarten teacher has informed us that they are working on reading skills-decoding, comprehension and recalling details. My Daughter has been reading for at least two years but, I though this Fun Deck would be a neat way to have her dig-deeper into the meaning of what she is reading. They have encouraged her to use her imagination and problem solving skills.
Super Duper Publication products are both fun and educational. The Fun Decks are great “toys” for travel. We will be taking ours on our upcoming trip.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
