Artistry by McKenzie G is my passion! I am McKenzie Guymon, a 21 year old cosmetologist in Idaho! Idaho isn’t exactly known for it’s fashion, but I have always had a passion for fashion. My personal style has changed many times through the years, but one thing that has always been present is my love of vintage inspired pieces. When I was in high school, I cut my hair very short and needed ways to accessorize my haircut. I began making hair accessories to make me feel more girly. When I started to look for vintage inspired pieces that I really loved, it was quite a chore! I decided to make them myself! I have gone even further to create not only hair accessories, but necklaces and tie tacks. There will definitely be more to come!
I love to watch old movies, and red carpet events to receive some inspiration. Sometimes I even just sit at my table and play with items until I create something I love! I have recently started selling to quite a few different countries and hope to continue growing that way. I have also started selling at a local boutique and would love for that to spread more and sell at other boutiques nationwide! My absolute dream is to be able to only create accessories and be a stay at home mommy doing just that! My husband is so supportive of everything that I do and I have really enjoyed having him here on this journey with me. I couldn’t do it without him. He actually gives me a lot of ideas for my pieces. I have a such great support and love to find inspiration everywhere! I can’t wait to continue to be inspired and create!
