I love finding affordable organic clothing companies. A great one I recently came across is zehn naturals. Zehn naturals is a company that makes organic clothing for people of all ages and genders. They have everything from onesies on up to mens.
A few of the reasons why Zehn Natural’s is awesome…
Their shirts are 100 percent organic. They have no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or insecticides used in the grown of the cotton.
Adult sized t shirts are made with 80 percent wind power! How neat is that?
The shirts are printed with earth friendly PVC free inks.
For every shirt sold, zehn naturals plants a tree.
10 percent of zehn’s profit goes to non-profit organizations that benefit education, arts, health care and the environment.
& even though they do all of this awesome stuff, they still manage to keep their short sleeved t shirts at under 30 dollars. Pretty impresive :).
Another really neat thing about this company, is when my t shirt arrived it had a tag pinned to it, with the company name and information about the shirt I ordered on it. When I first touched it I thought wow that’s definitely recycled or something. Well then I actually read the tag and it says “This tag is crafted of 100 percent recycled cotton fiber, fresh flowers and wildflower seeds. Plant it in 1/4-1/2 of soil, keep moist and watch it bloom!”
I had heard of these ‘plantable’ tags or cards before, but had never saw one myself. Once we (finally) get moved, I plan to plant it and let it grow. How neat! 🙂
I reviewed their (super adorable!) penguin tee, which is pictured below. The sizing does seem to run a little bit small. I sometimes order smalls or sometimes mediums, and I ordered a medium this time and it fits great. So if you are unsure about which size i’d suggest going up one. However, I think if I had ordered a small I still could have wore it, I just prefer my t shirts to not be tight. The shirt is super soft and has washed great with no problems. I definitely recommend zehn naturals! 🙂
