Personalized big brother book

My sister found out that she was pregnant about 6 weeks ago. Seems how her little guy just turned 2 about 2 weeks ago, he doesn’t really understand that his mom is about to have a new baby and that he’s going to be a big brother in a few months. When I saw that Frecklebox offers a customized big brother book, I thought it was perfect for Drew. To customize the book you include the child’s name, write a dedication, upload a photo of the child and include people who the child might visit (they show up on a calendar on one page of the book).

The child’s name will show up on the cover as well as inside of the pages. Their photo shows up on the last page as well. While Drew is too little to recognize his name, he was surprised to see a photo of himself inside of the book. I’m sure that once he gets older and can recognize his name he’ll have more of an appreciation for the book knowing it was truly customized and not just us swapping his name into the book as we read along.

I liked how the book I was sent is hard cover because at 2, kids are rough with books and I’d like to see this one stick around for the long haul seems how it is so special. If you aren’t as concerned about the book being mistreated there is a softcover option as well. Of course, if your child is older there is a big sister book as well.

Personalized small notebook

I was also able to check out a peace out journal which is a great size for tucking inside of a bag or even a larger purse. I’ve used it to keep track of a grocery list, but when I was in middle school and high school I liked this size of notebook for writing notes to my friends. The cover has my name as well as the bottom corner of each page. Frecklebox has a matching lunchbox, calendar, binder and regular sized notebook that are the same peace out theme. Be sure to check them out for your last minute school shopping.
