In an attempt to get rid of all the unhealthy items in our lives, we have done a deep clean in our pantry, refrigerator and freezer. It amazes me how many unhealthy items wiggled their way into our home. As I was getting rid of stuff, my Husband and daughters had a horrified look on their faces. I could tell they were wondering what they were going to snack on. As soon as the shelves had been cleaned, I unloaded a box of Newman’s Own Organic goodies I had waiting to surprise them with.

Newman’s Own Organic offers a variety of items for those of us who want more out of our foods. Their products are made with quality organic ingredients. Today, Newman’s Own Organics offers: coffee, tea, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dried fruits, pretzels, cookies, chocolates, mints, pop corn, soy crisps, and pet products.

For our review, we received a generous collection of Newman’s Own Organic products. Four of our favorites were the Pretzels, Chocolate Cups, Family Recipe Cookies and Mints.

High Protein Pretzels are made with yellow pea flower. They had a great buttery taste that you would expect from a pretzel. They were crunchy and delicious. With 5 grams of protein per serving they were also a smart snack.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cups are little pockets of yummy-ness! The chocolate is rich in texture and provides the perfect companionship to the comforting creamy peanut butter center. They are made using certified organic cocoa beans.

Double Chocolate Chip Family Recipe Cookies had our love and loyalty at first bite. They had a fresh homemade taste that was by far better than anything I have ever baked. They had delicious flavor and a nice crunch. They went well with a cold glass of milk.

Although I left most of the snacks for my Husband and daughters, I called dibs on the Mints. My favorite flavor was the Ginger. Ginger Mints are made with organic sugar, organic corn syrup, gum Arabic and natural flavors. Whenever I am in a mood to snack, I pop a mint in my mouth and my cravings are gone. They are delicious!

We have really enjoyed trying the Newman’s Own Organic products. The girls appreciated having snacks that were Mom-approved. My husband was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t taste “organic”…not sure what he was expecting.
