These days, a lot of kids have cell phones before they even finish elementary school. Having multiple phone plans in a single family can get expensive fast. Sprint recently created a new plan option for families with multiple phones. The new plan from Sprint is the best deal in data. The plan is called the Family Share pack and it allows families to have up to 10 lines. Each member of the plan gets unlimited talk and text, and the family gets 20GB of shared data. The family share pack costs just $100 a month total, regardless of how many lines you add (up to 10). That is a $60 savings for a family of four when compared to AT&T and Verizon’s current family plan pricing. Plus, it gives you twice as much data as Verizon and more than double the high-speed data of AT&T and T-mobile.

If you’re currently in a contract, you can bring in your number and activate on the Family Share Pack and Sprint will buy out the family’s contracts with a Visa prepaid up to a $350 value.

At $100 a month, it might be a cost-saving plan even for a family of just two people if you are paying more than $50 a month on your individual plans. Of course, the more members you add to the plan the more you save when compared with individual plans. If you want to learn more about the Sprint Family Share pack, check out the Spring website for further details.

How many cell phone users do you have in your family? How will your family benefit from this plan?

I just switched to this plan today. I was already a Sprint customer. The $100 is for data only. You have to pay $15 for unlimited talk and text per phone per month in addition to the $100. If you are coming to Sprint from another company they will waive the $15 until December 2015, then they will start charging you this. For us, it w, as still cheaper then what we were paying before, even with the $15. We did check the new $60 unlimited everything plan too. The only problem with that plan was you can’t get discounted phones while on it. The only way to get a,new upgrade phone on the $60 plan is to buy and pay full price or sign 2 yr contract and pay for phone monthly over 24 months, which you end up paying way moupgre than value of phone. With the $100 plan we can still get discounted phones and upgrade discounts.
