When it comes to travel mugs, there is only one brand I allow in my house, and that is Contigo! Contigo products are easily superior to any other brands we’ve tried: that’s why we keep buying them. We have tried other brands but they just don’t hold up…the beverage doesn’t stay hot, they leak or the stainless steel outside falls apart. None of that happens with Contigo! They have a leak-proof design and are made with high quality materials.

Contigo recently revamped their AUTOSEAL lid making it even easier to clean.  I think that’s fantastic that they were thinking about making life easier for their customers as well as providing a quality product. The new lid simply pulls open revealing the inside parts. It is so easy to wash and sanitize now.

There is one test I had never really put a Contigo travel mug through…How do they work with cold beverages? I typically use my Contigo mugs for hot beverages. Well, I put them to the test these last couple weeks. I recently started drinking nutritional cleansing shakes. My shakes are cold and need to be kept that way while I enjoy them. The 16 oz. AUTOSEAL West Loop Stainless Travel Mug kept my shake at the perfect temperature. It really wasn’t a surprise to me that they did phenomenally well with cold beverages as well as hot.
