I received product from Paderno World Cuisine for my review. All opinions are my own.

Not quite four weeks ago, I started a nutritional cleansing program. This program helps reduce the toxins in our bodies that have been put there from our environment, the foods we eat, our water, the cosmetics we use and so on. Part of what makes this program so successful is that it goes hand in hand with clean eating. The more organic farm-fresh foods you can eat, the better. The products we get in our grocery stores have likely been genetically altered, sprayed with toxic chemicals or aren’t the best quality.

On one of the nutritional cleansing support group pages, I saw many members raving about zucchini noodles. How they made them, what recipes they used them in and what family members thought about the creative noodles. I was intrigued. I wanted to try this and see what my family thought. I did some research and found that most members of this group had a “Spiral Vegetable Slicer.” I did more searching and found one at World Cuisine. For my review, World Cuisine was happy to send me a Spiral Vegetable Slicer.

The Spiral Vegetable Slicer comes with three stainless steel blades- a shredder, chipper and a straight blade. A convenient storage compartments holds the extra two blades. The base of the slicer has four suction feet to keep it securely in place while you work. It is impact-resistant and made with BPA-free plastic.

I was so excited when my package arrived from World Cuisine. It was getting close to dinner time and I didn’t know what to make. My aunt had just dropped off about 100 pounds of farm fresh zucchini, squash and cucumbers. I quickly washed the machine, set it up, grabbed a few zucchini and got to work. It was super easy! In just a matter of minutes I had spaghetti made with organic beef, homemade pasta sauce and fresh zucchini noodles. It was a hit with my family!

In my first batch, I left the zucchini peel on because that is where most of the fiber is.  However, I have since then started peeling the zucchini because I found that the peel can be a bit tough to chew.

If you are looking to make a fun and healthy dinner, I strongly suggest you get a Spiral Vegetable Slicer. In addition to zucchini, you can cut cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, apples and so much more.
