I received products from Reed’s Inc for my review. All opinions are my own.
I don’t know about you but everyone in our family loves the taste of ginger. We include fresh ginger when we juice, it’s in our stir fry meals, and we even enjoy crystalized ginger (sometimes dipped in chocolate!). Tell us another way to use it and we’ll probably like that also.
Needless to say, when we discovered Reeds various Ginger Brews, we had to add those to our ginger experiences also. Reed’s provided us with a wide assortment of their all natural (free of preservatives, caffeine, gluten and GMOs) non-alcoholic ginger brews including: Cherry Ginger Brew (cherry flavored ginger ale), Extra Ginger Brew (Jamaican style ginger beer), Spiced Apple Brew (spiced apple cider), Original Ginger Brew (Jamaican style ginger ale). We were also given a “non ginger” beverage called Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer (butterscotch cream soda).
All of these beverages have passed the family taste test. The ginger ales are slightly sweeter than the “beers” and are a big hit with the younger crowed. The beers have a stronger ginger “bite” to them which pleases the adult taste testers in the family. The butterscotch beer tastes like a good old-fashioned cream soda. Before I told my husband what the flavor was (because he’s usually not a fan of butterscotch), I asked him to take a sip….his first words were “that’s a cream soda”. When I told him it was a Butterscotch Beer, he said, “tastes like cream soda to me.” Lol I happen to love the taste of butterscotch so I was looking for it when I did my taste test…and I found it. To me, the Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer reminded me of the butterscotch hard candies my Grandpa used to always carry with him.
We enjoyed all of these beverages straight out of the bottle but they can also be used as mixers when making a “Dark and Stormy” or “Horse’s Neck” or how about a “Tuna on Rye”.
In addition to the brews we received for our review, Reed’s also has a Raspberry Ginger Brew as well as a Premium Ginger Brew.
Soda aren’t Reed’s only ginger product. They also offer ginger candies as well as ginger ice creams. They’re next on our list of “ginger experiences.”

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I don’t drink alcohol, never have, and would love to try some different ginger brews like these. I love ginger, but even more, I love butterscotch flavoring. I’d love the Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer since I’ve eaten so many butterscotch candies and enjoy them.
I’d love to try. I’ll have to see where I can get these flavors.
