Did you know that you can make a wedding registry at Best Buy? I think it’s a genius place to register for your wedding because they have more traditional wedding gifts such as small kitchen appliances while also having modern wedding registry items such as tablets, fitness trackers and camcorders. Creating a Best Buy wedding registry will allow you to register for a wide range of items that aren’t available at other stores that focus on just house & home or just technology.
If you’re creating a wedding registry you should take the time to look around the Best Buy website to see how many items will be ideal for your wedding registry. Check out the Best Buy Wedding Registry page to see their registry guide to get ideas on what types of items you should register for. Just to give you a taste of what is available, I have compiled my top five wedding registry items from Best Buy.
1. Aluratek – Digital Photo Frame. Perfect for displaying photos of your life from before, during and after your wedding!
2. Ninja – Master Prep Food and Drink Maker. A super handy and convenient small kitchen appliance that both people may not have owned previously.
3. Hoover – WindTunnel Air HEPA Bagless Upright Vacuum. I have this vacuum and love it. A great vacuum is a must-have for every couple and this one has nice suction so it gets the job done faster.
4. HTC – RE 16.0-Megapixel Waterproof Digital Camera. The first few months and years of marriage are special and should be well captured. This digital camera is waterproof so you can take it with you everywhere (even on your beach-destination honeymoon!) so you can keep permanent record of those special memories.
5. Fitbit Flex Wireless Activity and Sleep Tracker Wristband. Fitbit’s are really popular with anyone trying to watch their activity level and overall health so these would make a great gift idea for active couples.
Best Buy also has high-end gift ideas such as furniture, computers, tablets, etc. While many of these items might be outside of the budget range of individual gift-givers, they shouldn’t be excluded from registries. In my family, it’s common for a few households to group together to get a larger item on a registry. For example, my sister had most of the smaller items that she needed for her baby, but really needed a crib so my dad and two of my adult siblings participated in “group-gifting” where they all three piled in money to get a single gift. Group gifting is a great way for couples to have their higher end gift requests fulfilled. Best Buy makes group gifting easy by allowing friends or family members to contribute any amount they choose, so they can gift $50 or $100 towards a high value item instead of being forced to pay for an entire item on their own.
Are you getting married soon? Do you plan to register at Best Buy?

I would never have thought to do a wedding registry at Best Buy. But they do have things besides computers! Great idea!
I just bought a digital frame for a friend, great item!
