Bugaboo is a stroller brand that makes minimalist strollers that are designed to look sleek while being extremely functional. While they are a stripped down and minimalist look, they have features that make their strollers stand out above the rest in regards to features and functionality.

Brag-worthy features of the Bugaboo Bee3:

• The Bugaboo Bee3 is very lightweight. I could easily carry it with just one hand but the stroller felt really sturdy despite being lightweight.
• I can quickly and effortlessly collapse the stroller. There are buttons on each side of the handle that you push in and down at the same time and the stroller essentially folds itself down making it easy to toss in your trunk or garage in a compact package.

• The basket under the seat is generously sized so you can use it to hold a large diaper bag or purse, and the basket is reinforced on the bottom instead of being just a net so it can hold up better to wear and tear.
• A simple lever on the back of the child seat allows you to adjust the recline of the seat with just one hand.
• The seat can be used up to 37.5 pounds which will last most children through their toddler years, and even into or though the preschool years for children on the petite side. Kelsie is 2.5 and weighs 30 pounds. Drew just turned 5 and is only 40 pounds, so he could have used this stroller to age 4.
• Bugaboo strollers come with an automatic 2 year warranty. Plus, if you register your stroller online wtihin the first three months of purchase you get a complimentary extra year of coverage!

• The sun canopy is VERY generously sized and it’s expandable. With Kelsie at 2.5 the canopy can extend to almost entirely cover her when the seat is reclined. This large canopy would be wonderful for protecting your entire child (not just their face!) from sun, rain, cold winds or snow.

• The 5 point harness is snaps and adjusts easily to fit your child.
• The height of the seat and harness can be easily adjusted by pressing on a lever in the back of the seat. At 2.5 Kelsie isn’t yet in need of the higher harness levels.
• The stroller pushes effortlessly even with a 30 pound toddler.

• The harness straps naturally pull outward so you can place your child in the center and strap them in without digging the straps out from under their body or behind their back.

• The wheels have independent suspension which are great for uneven terrain.
• The seat can be changed between facing you and facing out.

• The handle adjusts to several height options which I love as a 5’1″ woman.

We didn’t test the feature, but you can order a Carry Cot for the Bugaboo Bee3 which allow the seat to be used from birth.

You can customize Bugaboo strollers with various fabric sets. This is great for matching your stroller to your nursery decor, showing off your style (or your little ones style!) or transitioning the stroller from one child to the next while still making the stroller match your child’s personality. While we were testing the Bugaboo Shiny Chevron fabric set on the Bugaboo Bee3, almost every young mom that we talked to commented on how much they loved the Shiny Chevron print and how modern and sleek it looked.
